Colleges Against Cancer is a voluntary student organization dedicated to fighting cancer through awareness, advocacy, service, and research. At Stanford University, we have been involved in the organizing of the Stanford Relay For Life. The purpose of the Stanford Relay For Life is to educate the community about cancer prevention and early detection; to familiarize participants with cancer research, programs, and services; to celebrate and honor cancer survivorship, to remember those who have lost their battles with cancer; and to raise much needed funds in the fight against cancer.

Money raised during the Relay For Life goes to support the American Cancer Society's mission to save lives, reduce the incidence of cancer, and impact the quality of life of cancer patients
